Alexis was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M, Spring 2024, with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Secondary Education. Her undergraduate research, with Prof. Andy Thomas, focused on developing and applying urea-based phosphine ligands for various palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. During her free time, Alexis enjoys crocheting, reading, embroidering and eating sweets.
